Welcome to the Tis The Season blog hop. Today we will be sharing cards that you might send during the Christmas season. We hope you’ll be inspired to create a card or two by seeing our creations.

The Graceful Greenery vellum is the perfect backdrop to the Frosted Forest evergreen trees. A bit of stamping and then ink blending with the masks helps you to create the most beautiful evergreen trees. Embossing with the Fern 3D embossing folder gives this card the final bit of texture that it needs. The die cut and season’s greeting sentiment make it perfect for all winter holidays. That sentiment and die cut are from the Greetings of the Season bundle.
Perhaps you like your cards a bit simpler? Here’s a stepped down version that has a bit less going on but still shows those beautiful evergreens.

These trees are Old Olive rather than Mossy Meadow and the patterned paper behind the trees is a bit simpler. The major difference with this card is that it was not embossed.
I’m curious. Which card is your favorite? Please let me know with a comment below.
instructions for the Frosted Season’s Greetings Card
- Cut a Thick Basic White card base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″.
- Adhere a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Graceful Greenery Vellum to the front of the card base. Be sure to only apply the adhesive to the part of the vellum that will be covered by the next layer.
- Stamp the large and small evergreen side by side on a 4 3/4″ x 3 1/2″ piece of Basic White using Mossy Meadow ink.
- Add Mossy Meadow ink with a blending brush and the A, B and C mask. Mark the notch on the lower left side of the mask on your scrap paper so you can line up your masks easily. (Be sure to make a notch for the mask when you move it to the left for the smaller evergreen, too.)
- Run this piece through the Cut & Emboss machine using the Fern 3D embossing folder.
- Wrap a piece of White Frayed ribbon around the bottom of the embossed piece and tie a not. Trim the ends.
- Use dimensionals to pop the piece up on the front of the card.
- Stamp Season’s Greetings in Mossy Meadow ink on a scrap of Basic White and die cut with the label.
- Adhere to the front of the card.
- Put one Faux Glass dot on the “hole” in the sentiment die cut.
