Create this Friendly Hello Triple Layer Card in a snap! This is a technique you will return to time and time again when you more than a single layer card. It is easy once you know how – isn’t that always the way it is?
INstructions
- Cut a Polished Pink card stock 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″.
- Cut two more piece of Polished Pink to the following dimensions: 4 1/4″ x 3″ and 3 1/4″ x 2″.
- Cut Basic White to the following dimensions:
- 5 1/4″ x 4″ – cut 2
- 4″ x 2 3/4″
- 3″ x 1 3/4″
- Center your 3″ x 1 3/4″ piece of white onto the 4″ x 2 3/4″ piece of white and center both of those over the 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of white. Adhere them in place with 1 glue dot in the middle. We will be taking these apart later.
- Using the two flowers from the Friendly Hello, ink them up in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and stamp them randomly on the three layers of white card stock. Press firmly (but do not rock). Don’t worry if the image isn’t stamped right up to the edges of the card stock layers.
- Stamp your “Hope you have the best birthday” sentiment on the center piece in Polished Pink ink.
- Using a dauber on your finger, rub Polished Pink ink in the center of each flower.
- Carefully separate your three layers and keep them in the same orientation.
- Adhere the largest layer onto the front of the card base.
- Adhere the second largest layer onto the mat that is slightly larger and then adhere this to the card front, being sure to match up the stamping so it looks like it was stamped from one layer to the next.
- Adhere the smallest piece of white to the smallest mat. Then adhere to the card front in the same manner as above.
- Add bling and your done!

Blending Brush Class
Do you have Blending Brushes? Would you like to learn 4 new ways to use them? I’ll be doing a Blending Brush class (Via Zoom) FREE for anyone ordering $35 or more between today (January 16) and January 31, 2022. You will need to have Blending Brushes, masks or stencils (Butterflies & Flowers Layering Masks or Basic Patterns), and heat embossing supplies (Versamark, white embossing powder, and a heat tool.) I will be using the Art Gallery Stamp set for all of the stamped images and the inks/papers will be mainly Mint Macaron, Misty Moonlight and Balmy Blue. I will send everyone in the class a card kit with the card stock and die cuts for the four cards. You will need to supply inks and adhesives to make the cards as demonstrated.
Here is a sneak peek of the cards we will be making:
