Forever & Always Card

Welcome to our Creativity Abounds Blog Hop.   We are a group of Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world that are coming together to share our creative ideas with you.  We are happy that you can join us and hope that we can inspire you to make creations of your own.

The theme for this January’s blog hop is the Love You Always suite of products in our new January-June catalog (p. 10-17). This is such a beautiful suite with many choices for stamps, papers and embellishments. I have decided to keep it simple for this card and create a card that I’d be willing to make and send to family and friends. 

This card starts with a Blushing Bride card base and a piece of designer series paper from the Fine Art Floral pack. The soft background is just perfect. Since I wanted LOVE to be the theme of my card, I stamped the love-ly script “LOVE” in Early Espresso to the left of center and then randomly stamped the smaller flower, also from the Forever & Always stamp set, in Blushing Bride on a piece of white card stock. I matted that stamped piece on Early Espresso card stock and centered it on the card front. I stamped the larger flower in Early Espresso on a scrap of white and fussy cut it. (The “Always Dies” are now available to go with this set but at the time I made this card, I had not received mine!) I popped the flower up on the lower right corner with a few dimensionals. I then added three pearls for a finishing touch!
