Welcome to Festive Friday #FF0177 where we are celebrating Valentines! Below you will see our Inspo List that was inspired by this holiday. We hope the Inspo list will challenge you to create card based on the theme and/or the inspiration list. My card does fit the theme of Valentines but yours does not have to do so! There is a new Festive Friday Challenge every other week.

To play along with us just use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project and link up to the #festivefridaychallenge. You don’t need a blog to enter Festive Friday. Check out this link on how you can play along with this challenge. If you want help entering, please email me (lorraine@chatncraftwithlorraine.com) and I’d be happy to help you!
Remember, your project does not have to celebrate the actual occasion- just make a card, 3D item, or scrapbook page using 3 items on the list. Here’s my Black Friday (#FF0172) creation.
Back to Festive Friday Challenge #0177. I used the Floral Delight Stamp set and the Hearts of Elegance dies to make Valentines. The So Swirly embossing folder adds great “heart-like” texture, too. I chose the following items from the Inspo List: pink, hearts and love sentiment.
Here’s a look at the inside of the card.

instructions for the Floral Delight Valentines
- Cut a Basic White Thick card base 4 1/4″ x 11″ and score at 5 1/2″.
- Fold and burnish. The fold will be on the left.
- Emboss a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Petunia Pop card stock with the So Swirly embossing folder.
- Adhere to the front of the card.
- Stamp an 8 1/2″ x 11″ piece of Basic White with Petunia Pop, Lemon Lime Twist, Boho Blue, and Pebbled Path inks. WATCH THE VIDEO TO SEE HOW IT WAS DONE.
- Cut the stamped piece and die cut your heart.
- Add the die cut heart to the card front with dimensionals.
- Use the Something Fancy dies to die cut a label.
- Stamp with Happy Valentine’s Day from Hearts of Elegance stamp set in Boho Blue.
- Stamp Love You in the inside with Boho Blue.
- Add a 4 1/4″ x 1/2″ strip of the stamped paper to the inside as shown.
- Add three Purple Fine Shimmer gems to the front.
