Festive Friday Valentine's Day Fabulous Friend Card #FF0202

Welcome to Festive Friday #FF0202 where we are celebrating Valentine’s Day! Below you will see our Inspo List that was inspired by this holiday. We hope the Inspo list will inspire you to create card based on the theme and/or the inspiration list. Your card doesn’t have to celebrate the holiday. It is okay for it to look very different! There is a new Festive Friday Challenge every other week.

This friendship themed card features the A Round of Hellos stamp set for the images and the Fabulous Sayings stamp set- January’s Product of the Month. The background of the card is actually a 4″ x 4″ square of paper from the Splash of Sparkles paper pack. The flower was stamped directly on the patterned paper. Which fabulous friend would you send this card to?

Here is the inside of my card:

The sentiment is from Fabulous Sayings and the dots are from A Round of Hellos. I cut the heart free hand from a piece of the Splash of Sparkles paper. It makes for a fun inside of the card.

Instructions for Fabulous Friend Card

Cut a Highland Heather card base 4 1/4″ x 8 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4 on the long side.
Cut a 4″ square piece of the Splash of Sparkles paper.
Stamp the leaves twice in Granny Apple Green directly on the patterned paper.
Stamp the flower and flower center twice using Highland Heather ink.
Stamp the leaves, flower and flower center again on a scrap of Basic White and fussy cut.
Pop the fussy cut piece on the front with dimensionals.
Stamp the dots several times in Highland Heather ink around the flowers.
Adhere to the front of the card base.
Stamp the sentiment on a 1/2″ wide strip of Basic White using Basic Gray ink. Trim to fit.
Pop this up on the card front.
On a 4″ square piece of Basic White, stamp “sending love” in Basic Gray.
Stamp a few dots in the lower left corner.
Add a heart fussy cut from the Splash of Sparkles paper.
Color several clear dots from the Ladybug Garden Epoxy shapes with the Highland Heather Stampin’ blend and adhere to the front of the card.
