Welcome to Festive Friday #FF0172 where we are celebrating Black Friday! Below you will see our Inspo List that was inspired by this holiday. We hope the Inspo list will challenge you to create card based on the theme and/or the inspiration list. As you can see my card doesn’t have anything to do with Black Friday! There is a new Festive Friday Challenge every other week.

To play along with us just use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project and link up to the #festivefridaychallenge. You don’t need a blog to enter Festive Friday. Remember, your project does not have to celebrate the actual occasion- just make a card, 3D item, or scrapbook page using 3 items on the list.

Here’s my Black Friday (#FF0172) creation.

Back to Festive Friday Challenge #0172. I used the Planted Paradise Stamp set and the Changing Leaves hybrid embossing folder to make this fun card. I chose the following items from the Inspo List: texture, twine, and neutral colors.

Don’t think I’m trying to pull a fast one on you! Misty Moonlight and Mossy Meadow are neutral colors in the Stampin’ Up! families of color. Maybe I have stretched the original intent of “neutral” colors just a bit! I was very excited to use the Planted Paradise stamp set as it has not seen a lot of ink.

instructions for the Planted Paradise Card (FF#0172)

Cut a Misty Moonlight card base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″.
Use the Changing Leaves Hybrid embossing folder with a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Basic White and adhere to the front of the card base.
On a 3 3/4″ x 3″ piece of Basic White, use Pecan Pie ink to stamp the sentiment and the plant pot.
Add the leaves with Mossy Meadow ink.
Lastly, add the accent stamps horizontally in Misty Moonlight beneath the pot.
Adhere that piece to a 3 7/8″ x 3 1/8″ piece of Pecan Pie card stock.
Wrap the Night of Navy twine around the layered piece three times and tie a bow.
Use dimensionals to adhere the piece to the front of the card.
Add three Copper Clay gems from the 2023-2025 In Color Opaque Sparkle dots.
On the 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece stamp the small pot in Misty Moonlight and add 3 Mossy Meadow leaves.
Adhere to the inside of the card base.

Christmas Stamp a Stack November

Join me for my November 2024 Christmas Stamp-a-Stack. We’ll make 8 cards each month (2 each of 4 designs) so you’ll be getting ahead on your Christmas cards each month. We will be using the Artful Amaryllis bundle.

Cost is $40 (local) or $45 (by mail) each month or free with a minimum of a $45 order (before taxes and shipping). Please email me to let me know you are interested in this class.

Two options – in person or by mail.

In Person – class will be held on the last Wednesday (Oct, Nov) of each month at 6:30 pm.
By mail – Zoom will be held on the last Tuesday of each month at 2:30 pm. The class will be recorded and available via YouTube, to watch (or rewatch) at your convenience. You will substitute your own stamp sets or add the stamp set/dies to your order.
