Welcome to our Technique Squad Blog Hop! Today our theme is Faux Watercolor. There are many ways to create a beautiful card or project with Faux Watercolor techniques so I think you’ll be in for a treat with this blog hop.
I made this Magical Meadow Christmas card for you.

To achieve the look of watercolor on this card, I inked the evergreen and berry stamp from the Magical Meadow bundle with the brush end of my Mossy Meadow and Real Red Stamp & Write markers. Then I spritzed the stamp with a good amount of water. I stamped twice on the Thick Basic White card stock to begin the background. After cleaning my stamp, I repeated the process until I had filled the piece of Basic White.
A piece of Vellum card stock cut with the arched window die from the Garden Meadow dies softens the stamping just a bit and provides a subtle backdrop for the Magical Meadow die cuts. A circle cut with a Stylish Shapes die is the perfect size for the sentiment. I love the holiday sentiments in the Perched in a Tree stamp set. Three Festive Pearls finish off the card.
On a Basic White mat in the inside, I repeated the Faux Watercolor process and stamped one evergreen sprig with berries.
