This month’s blog hop is inspired by the Expressions in Color Paper Pumpkin kit. The kit makes amazing cards as designed and when you’ve completed those you will be left with a great stamp set. I’ve created three alternative cards using the stamp set.

The first alternative I made featuredFresh Freesia ink and card stock mat on a Rich Razzleberry mat. The detailed flower stamp is also stamped in Rich Razzleberry directly on a Fresh Freesia “blob”. I used a few of the adhesive sequins from the kit on the front as well.
I continued in the same theme making a card with Flirty Flamingo. I happen to think Flirty Flamingo is the perfect fun, summer color. On this card, half of the “blobs” were “stamped off” before stamping on the card front. The lighter “blobs” are the ones I then stamped with flower stamp using full strength Flirty Flamingo. I changed the sentiment on this one to “Thanks for everything.”

The third card I made featured Balmy Blue ink with Misty Moonlight card stock. I love that color combination. On this card, I only used the flower stamp on one focal “blob” near the center. I popped up this sentiment “sending hugs” on a stitched rectangle and again added a few sequins.

I hope you have as much fun as I did making your cards in this month’s Expressions in Color kit. When they are completed, have some more fun with the stamp set. I think you’ll enjoy it!
