Welcome to the Technique Tuesday Blog Hop. This month we are focusing on Envelope Techniques.
The Crafty Collaborations Team is comprised of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world. Each month we participate in several collaborative projects, including Blog Hops, like this one, to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing.

Here are my envelopes that I stepped up with the Basic Borders Dies. There are 6 dies in the set and at least 3 of them are perfect to dress up your envelopes. Placing the die as close to the edge of the envelope flap as possible ensures that you leave enough adhesive to seal the envelope well. You could always add a bit of adhesive if you needed to.
Here’s how I lined up the envelope and the die on my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss platform.

You can use a sticky note or Post-It note tape to hold one of the Basic Border dies in place if it tends to move on you. I also added a bit of color to two of the envelopes. I cut a piece of Highland Heather with the “rick rack” die and edged a piece of New Horizons patterned paper for another envelope. Just use the same Basic Border die to make the color accent as you used on the envelope. (The paper was 2″ x 5 1/2″ before shaping with the die.) After cutting with the die, I adhered it to the envelope flap and then trimmed it on the sides and the fold.

Blending Brush Class
Do you have Blending Brushes? Would you like to learn 4 new ways to use them? I’ll be doing a Blending Brush class (Via Zoom) FREE for anyone ordering $35 or more between today (January 16) and January 31, 2022. You will need to have Blending Brushes, masks or stencils (Butterflies & Flowers Layering Masks or Basic Patterns), and heat embossing supplies (Versamark, white embossing powder, and a heat tool.) I will be using the Art Gallery Stamp set for all of the stamped images and the inks/papers will be mainly Mint Macaron, Misty Moonlight and Balmy Blue. I will send everyone in the class a card kit with the card stock and die cuts for the four cards. You will need to supply inks and adhesives to make the cards as demonstrated.
Here is a sneak peek of the cards we will be making:

The Blending Brush class will be held on February 11, 2022 at 6:30 PM ET via Zoom. A recording of the class will be made available to all who are registered to attend.
Make your $35 purchase prior to January 31, 2022 to register. Please use this link to shop with me. If you have any questions just send me an email to chatncraftwithlorraine@gmail.com and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
