Encircled In Nature Birthday Card

Welcome to the Ink Stamp Share Monthly Blog Hop. Today is a showcase hop so we can choose whatever we’d like to share with you. I have chosen a card made with the Online Exclusive Bundle Encircled in Nature.

I love trees! I love Misty Moonlight! I love the Country Woods woodgrain paper! This card is all things that I love.

It was fun to make it as a peekaboo card. The folks that made it in my April in person classes seemed to enjoy it as well. Here’s what it looks like when opened:

It’s not a difficult card to make. Just follow the instructions.

1. Cut a Misty Moonlight card base 4 1/4″ x 11″ and score at 5 1/2″.
2. On the front of the card base, die cut the smaller circle about 1/2″ from the fold and centered from top to bottom.
3. Use Early Espresso ink and stamp the twigs around the circle, keeping the card base open.
4. Use Night of Navy ink and stamp the trees on the lower left side of the circle on the front.
5. Put the wood paper (cut 1 1/2″ x 4″ ) on the Early Espresso mat (cut 1 5/8″ x 4 1/8″). Glue to right side of the circle.
6. Adhere the Basic White Mat cut 5 1/4″ x 4″ to the inside.
7. Fold the card closed and use a blending brush to add just a bit of Misty Moonlight ink within the circle. 
8. Open the card and stamp the trees with Misty Moonlight to the lower left of the blue ink circle you just created. 
9. Close the card base.
10. Use Early Espresso Ink to stamp the large sentiment from Encircled in Nature through the window.  Use Early Espresso to add the Happy Birthday from the Something Fancy stamp set.
11. Die cut the two sets of multiple trees from Misty Moonlight card stock. Adhere the larger group on the left below the circle opening on the front.
12. Adhere the small group of trees just to the right of the larger group.
13. Stamp with Misty Moonlight and then die cut the single tree. Glue to front of card.
