Here’s what you need to get started:
-2 6″ x 12″ pieces of coordinating patterned paper. (If it has an obvious up and down pattern, be sure the pattern is pointed up when the 12 inch side is horizontal.)
-11 card bases, cut 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″. These should be in colors that match the patterned papers or whisper white/very vanilla card stock.
-4 pieces of neutral cardstock- whisper white, very vanilla or a light coordinating color- cut 3 1/4″ x 5″.
Extra neutral card stock for sentiments
Label or dies to cut out sentiments
Ink
Paper Trimmer
Adhesive and scissors
Coordinating Ribbon
Once you have the materials assembled, you will need to cut your 6″ x 12″ pieces of paper. You can layer them together and cut both at once or repeat these instructions for each piece.
Follow the diagram below.
1. Take the 3 1/2″ x 6″ piece and cut the 6″ side at 2 1/4″ and then 2 1/4″ again. Then cut the 1 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ piece along the 3 1/2″ side at 1 3/4″. These pieces make the cards in the photo below. (I did mount two rectangles on a 4 x 5 1/4″ piece of whisper white leaving a gap in the middle that I covered with the 3 /4″ strip leftover from the 4″ block.)
