It’s time for our Creativity Abounds Blog Hop. We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world- all with different styles- who hope to inspire you to create beautiful cards and send them to friends and family. Each month we create a tutorial that you can receive with an order from one of us as well as a blog post. These are often centered on a particular theme or technique.
Here is a peak at our design team. Join us for one of our Stamp Camps and you’ll get to meet everyone!

This month our theme is Anything But a Card or Home Decor. I have chosed a DIY Stamped Tile Coaster project for you. This is super quick and easy yet it makes a nice gift.

These are so easy to make. After cleaning the tile with a microfiber cloth, just stamp your image with a juicy Stazon Jet Black ink pad. I have used a stamp from the Delicate Forest stamp set. The sentiment was also stamped with Stazon and is from the So Sincere stamp set. Be sure to clean your stamps with Stazon Cleaner right away. After the black ink is removed, condition your cling (red rubber) stamps with the Stampin’ Mist or wipe your photopolymer stamps with your shammy. This will help condition your stamps.
Once the ink is dry, you can seal the tile with a basic tile sealer. I used the one that had been used to seal the tile on my kitchen floor.
The package of tile that I purchased from Amazon came with self adhesive cork backings so the coasters won’t scratch your furniture. After the sealant was dry I adhere the cork to the back of the toaster.
I made a set of 4 coasters with the same image and sentiment but you could vary them with different stamps from the same set or by using 4 different stamp sets.

I will be gifting this set of coasters to a friend who is bringing 10 new stampers to a birthday card class. Since every package needs a bow, I decided to tie these up with one. The Black & White Gingham ribbon matched perfectly and makes a pretty presentation.

I hope you will give these coasters a try. It’s a fun way to use your stamps and ink to make a gift for a hostess, friend or neighbor. Perhaps you would use them yourself!
You can see the Stampin’ Up! supplies used at the bottom of this blog post.
