Delicate Pine Snowflakes Birthday Cards

Welcome to the Technique Tuesday Blog Hop! I have chosen the technique of Emboss Resist. It is one of my favorite techniques. To use this technique begin by embossing an image and then blending ink over and around it. When done blending, wipe any excess ink off the embossed images as they will resist the ink.

Don’t put your Christmas stamps away too soon. This one is still perfect for winter birthday or thinking of you cards. Who says you can’t have pink snowflakes?

This card also looks great in blues with a generous helping of Wink of Stella on the snowflakes.

To make Pink Delicate Pines Birthday card

• Fresh Freesia card base 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″
• Fresh Freesia mat 5″ x 3 3/4″
• Basic White mats (2) 5 1/4″ x 4″
• White Embossing Powder
• Versamark ink
• Blending Brushes
• Petunia Pop and Berry Burst inks
• Balmy Blue Gingham Ribbon

I sure hope you will give the emboss resist technique a try. It is so much fun and usually produces beautiful results.
