Welcome to the Stampin’ Dreams blog hop. We are a group of demonstrators from around the world that enjoy creating projects and sharing them with others. Today our theme is Graduation.
I created a fun card using the bright colors from the Full of Life papers along with several stamps from the Cap & Gown stamp set. In my opinion, this is the perfect graduation set. It has everything you need to make a variety of graduation cards.

Instructions for Congratulations, Graduate card
- Cut a Night of Navy card base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″. Fold and burnish.
- Cut your starburst paper to 5″ x 3 3/4″ being sure to cut equal dimensions off each side. So first cut to 5 1/2″ width and then trim the second 1/2″ from the other side. This keeps the starburst centered.
- To arrive at a 3 3/4″ height you will cut 1 1/8″ off the top and then the same off the bottom.
- Mat the starburst paper on a piece of Basic White cut 5 1/4″ x 4″. Adhere both to the front of the car base.
- Use the largest Stylish Shapes square to die cut a white square. Stamp the hands and the sentiment directly on this with Memento ink.
- Color the sleeves with Light and Dark Blueberry Bushel Stampin’ Blends. Use the Light skin tones for the hand.
- Stamp the large mortar board cap on a scrap of Basic White and color with the Blueberry Blends and Wild Wheat for the tassel. Fussy cut.
- Adhere the Stylish Shapes square to a Night of Navy Mat cut 1/4″ larger. Pop this up on the front of the card.
- Add the mortar board cap to the upper right corner with dimensionals and glue.
- Use the two strips you cut from the sides of the paper on the inside of the card as shown.
- Stamp the sentiment centered between these strips.
