Color & Contour Spotlight Technique

The Crafty Collaborations Team is comprised of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world. Each month we participate in several collaborative projects, including Blog Hops, like this one, to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing.

Today our blog hop is featuring the Spotlight Technique. Spotlighting is taking one small piece of the card and focusing on it by raising it up or coloring it in or somehow helping it to stand out and be noticed. This is one of my favorite techniques so I have quite a few cards to show you. I hope you will be inspired to try this.

This card features the soon to be retired Color & Contour stamp set and Tahitian Tide card stock and ink. As Tahitian Tide is a 2022-2024 In Color, it will also be retiring shortly.

Techniques across the Border Classes

Brought to you by ChatnCraft with Lorraine and Stamping with Melva! Melva Peters is a friend and wonderful Stampin’ Up! demonstrator from Canada. We will team together to teach these fun and informative classes.

General Information:

Join Melva and me to learn (or learn more) about a new technique each month. Our class will be held via Zoom on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM Eastern Time. We will explore the technique and make 4 projects in each class.

There are 2 options for each class:

Option 1 – Class Cost $35 and includes 4 projects and a selection of supplies you need to make the projects
Option 2 – If you have the products for the technique – Class Cost FREE with an order of at least $35 before shipping and taxes
