This Triple Z Fold card is quick and easy to do once you know how! It’s a lot of fun to decorate as well. This card uses the Mediterranean Blooms paper and the Wanted to Say dies. Coloring those lemons felt intimidating to me so I fussy cut them from the patterned paper. Easy peasy!
The back of the card gives you ample room to stamp another sentiment and write your message.

We had a lot of fun making this card in our Zoom Class. I hope you will give it a try.
instructions for Citrus Blooms Triple Z fold
- Cut a Balmy Blue card base 6 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ and score it withthe 6 1/4″ side along the top at 1 1/4″ and 2 1/4″.
- Fold the 2 1/4″ score line toward the center and the 1 1/4″ score line back to the outside. This should give you a Z fold.
- Score a 6 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of patterned paper in landscape orientation. (The pattern should be correct with the 6 1/4″ side across the top of the cutter.)
- WIth the 6 1/4″ side across the top of the trimmer score this at 1 1/4″ and 2 1/4″.
- Turn it 90 degrees so the 5 1/2″ side is across the top and cut it at 1 1/2″. Set that strip aside and cut at 1 1/2″ again. (Keep the papers in order to have the pattern match.)
- With the Z fold of the card base on your right, place the top strip of patterned paper on top with its Z fold on the left. You can leave a border at the top if you’d like. NOTE: There should only be one Z fold on each side!
- Adhere the patterned paper in place. (The outermost piece of the patterned paper Z fold gets the glue.)
- Next adhere the bottom piece. Then center the middle piece in place.
- The card base should have a “hollow rectangle” in the middle.

- Decorate the front of the card as you’d like. I used a circle or square to hold the sentiment as well as a few die cuts.
- For the back, adhere a small strip of patterned paper ( 1/2″ x 3 3/4″ ) to the bottom of a Basic White piece cut 5 1/4″ x 3 3/4″.
- Adhere the piece to the back of the card.
- Add a few embellishments to the front.
Here are two other cards I made in this style. The one below uses the Full of Life paper and the little plants are from Attention Shoppers bundle.

Grab some paper and go make a card or two like this. Please email me if you have any questions.
