Christmas Tags & More Happy Christmas Card

Welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop! Today we are sharing cards based on the Power of Threes! We were challenged to use 3 pieces of patterned paper, three images and three embellishments.

My card took a somewhat simplified approach to this. While I have three pieces of patterned paper, two of the patterns are the same. The same is true of my images- two sprigs of green and one poinsettia. My embellishments are three different sizes but just one color. There is always room to make a card “your own.”

Here is a close up look at the papers and images. All of the components of this card are from the Christmas Tags & More Mix & Match paper pack. It is an amazing pack that has a unique assortment of paper and precut images makes it easy to create your Christmas cards and gift tags. It includes full-sheet designs, cut-apart designs for card fronts and tags, and precut images for quick accents.

This is the perfect pack of papers if you’ve been wanting to get into card making or to gift to that friend of yours that is just beginning her card making journey. It is so versatile and easy to use.

instructions for the Happy CHristmas Card

Cut a Real Red card stock card base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″.
Cut two pieces of Garden Green checked paper one at 1 1/2″ x 5 1/4″ and another at 1 1/4″ x 5 1/4″.
Cut the third Garden Green paper at 1″ x 5 1/4″.
Adhere all three to the card front starting with the left and right piece. Then add the piece to the middle.
Die cut the second largest circle with the Stylish Shapes die and stamp Happy Christmas from Bauble Blooms on the right side.
Adhere the poinsettia so it frames the beginning of the word “Christmas.” Slip the foliage under at the top and bottom, following the contour of the circle.
Pop the circle and images up with dimensionals on the card front.
Add three Real Red gems in varying sizes.
Add 1/2″ x 5 1/4″ to the 5 1/4″ x 4″ Basic White and adhere to the inside.
