I love Tuesdays….there are always two fun crafty things. My free Zoom class and Case-ing Tuesday Challenge. This week (Case-ing Tuesday #312) called to me right away and I could easily picture making a Christmas card to participate in this sketch challenge. I reached for the Tidings and Trimmings Bundle and got started.

Here is the sample card and the sketch with all the dimensions provided for you. It really is an easy way to make a card. The hard part is figured out for you.

I used the Tidings and Trimmings stamp set, dies and paper from the Tidings and Trimmings Suite in the annual catalog. It is quickly becoming one of my favorites as the stockings and the star are just perfect for so many cards. I really like the sentiments, too.
As you can see, I followed the sketch pretty closely. I embossed a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Cherry Cobbler with the Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder before I cut it into the various sized rectangles. Then I stamped my sentiment on a piece of patterned paper! Wow! That is not something I usually do. I’m not sure who did that recently to inspire me, but I thank you! I then stamped and die cut two stockings as well as some greenery and gold. It really worked up quickly and I like it! Another Christmas card is ready to go!
I’d love to see you play along with the Case-ing Tuesday sketch challenge. You always have a week to add your photo to the post on FB. Even if you don’t create, take a look at how others interpret the sketch. The cards are amazing. You can follow it loosely or rather closely. It’s up to you.
