Cheers & Sips Bridge Fold Card

Welcome to our Fun/Fancy Folds Blog Hop where we showcase…yup, Fun or Fancy Folds.

Today I will be sharing a Cheers & Sips Bridge Fold card. These are fun and quick to make. They also display well. That makes them a winner in my book!

Strawberry Slush, one of the new 2025-2027 In Colors, pairs so nicely with Old Olive. The Old Olive paper is the new Two Tone card stock embossed with one of the Glass & Gardens embossing folders that is part of the Celebratory Sips Suite. After embossing it, I lightly sanded it to reveal the white core. I just love that look.

This stamp set makes it really fun to create your own special drink. My best tip for the ice cubes is to stamp them in White Craft ink and then color with blends. The white ink resists the blends and you see the ice cubes shining through!

instructions for cheers & sips bridge fold card

Cut your papers:

Strawberry Slush card base 4 1/4″ x 8 1/4″ (not 8 1/2″)
- score this at 1 3/8″, 2 3/4″, 5 1/2″, and 6 7/8″ (or see video for another way to do this.)
Strawberry Slush “bridge” 1 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
Old Olive Two Tone Cardstock 2 1/2″ x 4, and 1 1/8″ x 4 (2)
Basic White 2 1/4″ x 4″
Basic White to die cut 2 1/2″ Stylish Shapes circle and for stamping glass, umbrella and strawberry
Floral Impressions DSP 1″ x 5 1/2″

Fold the left two sections of the card base towards the center and burnish. Then fold the right section back to the left so you have a Z fold. Repeat for the right side of the card base.
Run the larger piece of Old Olive through the Garden Flowers embossing folder. Then run the two smaller pieces through together.
Lightly sand right over the embossing to reveal the white core.
Adhere the narrow strips to the outer sections and the larger piece to the center.
Adhere the DSP to the bridge piece.
Adhere the bridge to the card base by having just ONE side fold and the other side flat. (see video)
Die cut your circle and stamp with To You!
Stamp the strawberry with Strawberry Slush ink and color with the Light Melon Mambo blend.
Stamp the glass and umbrella in Memento ink.
Stamp the ice cubes in the glass with White craft ink.
Color the umbrella with the Cloud Cover marker.
Color the beverage with Pretty in Pink Stampin’ Blend.
Die cut the toothpick and cut off the curl. Adhere to the back of the umbrella.
Pop up the glass, strawberry and umbrella.
Die cut the smallest Stylish Shapes banner. Stamp Let’s Celebrate on it and adhere to the card front.
Add 5 Strawberry Slush and Pretty Pink embellishments.
Stamp a lemon and strawberry on the small Basic White piece and adhere to the back.
