Welcome to our Ink Stamp Share Hop. Today we have taken a sketch challenge and can’t wait to share our projects with you. Here’s the sketch that provided our inspiration.

I was inspired to use the Changing Leaves bundle- a new online exclusive that I just can’t get enough of! It is so versatile. Here’s the card I created.

My color palette was inspired by summer and watermelon. A combination of Melon Mambo and Lemon Lime Twist patterned paper from the Flowering Zinnia pack started me off. The embossed leaves and Melon Mambo leaves seemed to be the perfect touch to finish this summery creation.

instructions for Changing Leaves Sketch challenge

1. Cut a Thick Basic White card base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″.
2. Layer your 3 pieces-
   • Melon Mambo DSP cut 5 1/4″ x 4″
   • Lemon Lime Twist embossed with the Changing Leaves embossing Folder cut 3″ x 4 1/2″
   • Basic White stamped with Melon Mambo leaves from Changing Leaves stamp set cut 2 1/2″ x 3 1/2″
3. Once those layers are adhered together wrap with white ribbon and tie a knot.
4. Adhere to the front of the card base.
5. Punch a 2″ circle from the striped Flowering Zinnia DSP.
6. Add a 1 3/4″ die cut circle (Stylish Shapes dies) and stamp with Thank You from the Sketched Butterflies stamp set.
7. Layer the circles and adhere to the front with dimensionals.
8. Add three Lemon Lime Twist Adhesive Backed Shiny Sequins.

Christmas Stamp a Stack

Join me each month starting in July for my 2024 Christmas Stamp-a-Stack. We’ll make 8 cards each month (2 each of 4 designs) so you’ll be getting ahead on your Christmas cards each month.

Cost is $40 (local) or $45 (by mail) each month or free with a minimum of a $45 order (before taxes and shipping). 

Sign up for the full 5 months and you’ll receive a $25 bonus in product of your choice. 

Two options – in person or by mail.  

• In Person – class will be held on the last Monday (July, Aug) or Wednesday (Sept, Oct, Nov) of each month at 6:30 pm.
• By mail – Zoom will be held on the last Tuesday of each month at 2:30 pm. The class will be recorded and available via YouTube, to watch (or rewatch) at your convenience.  You will substitute your own stamp sets or add the stamp set/dies to your order. 
• Send me an email to sign up for the Stamp a Stack classes.

Each month there will be an option to purchase the stamp set or bundle we will be using. Costs will be based on product used.

The October kit will use the Sweetest Star bundle from the September – December Mini Catalog!
