Today’s card is one that was made as part of our Tuesday evening ChatnCraft with Friends gathering on Zoom. This card features the Changing Leaves Stamp set- one of the online exclusives- in the colors of Night of Navy, Petunia Pop and Smoky Slate. It’s a quick and fun layout that looked great with a variety of colors and stamp sets.

Here’s a couple more cards I made prior to the Zoom class!

instructions for changing Leaves triple Stamping card

Cut a Smoky Slate card base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″.
Cut 2 pieces of Basic White 5 1/4″ x 4″. One is for the front and one for the inside. Do not adhere yet.
Cut a piece of Basic White 2 3/4″ x 3″ and another at 2 1/4″ square.
Decide on your mat color and cut two mats at 3″ x 3 1/4″, and 2 1/2″ square.
Use a glue dot or repositionable adhesive to layer the three pieces of Basic White similar to what is shown below. NOTE: make sure your pieces will not hang over the edge of the white when you have matted them.

Begin with stamping your sentiment on one of the Basic White pieces. It’s easiest to fit it in if you do this first.
Stamp on the layered pieces being sure to stamp right over the edges of each piece. Stamp the leaves in Night of Navy and Petunia Pop. Add a small “filler design” in Smoky Slate. This one is from the Citrus Blooms stamp set.
When you have enough stamping done, carefully remove the two smaller pieces and try to keep them in the same orientation. That makes matching them up again a bit easier.
Adhere the 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of stamped Basic White to the front of the card base.
Mat the two smaller pieces of Basic White on their corresponding pieces and fit them back onto the front of the card so that they cover up the missing edges of the stamped images.
Add a bit of bling.
Stamp a small image on the Basic White piece for the inside of your card.

Christmas Stamp a Stack

Join me each month starting in July for my 2024 Christmas Stamp-a-Stack. We’ll make 8 cards each month (2 each of 4 designs) so you’ll be getting ahead on your Christmas cards each month.

Cost is $40 (local) or $45 (by mail) each month or free with a minimum of a $45 order (before taxes and shipping).

Two options – in person or by mail.

In Person – class will be held on the last Monday (July, Aug) or Wednesday (Sept, Oct, Nov) of each month at 6:30 pm.
By mail – Zoom will be held on the last Tuesday of each month at 2:30 pm. The class will be recorded and available via YouTube, to watch (or rewatch) at your convenience. You will substitute your own stamp sets or add the stamp set/dies to your order.
