Welcome to the November Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop. Each month we are given a photo and list of colors to inspire us to create a project. Here is the inspiration for November 2024.

While the bird was certainly cute, I chose to be inspired by the colors. I chose the Iconic Imagery stamp set and dies because the small images are fun to work with and can work with so many colors.

It was a fun card to create especially with inspiration from @simple_stamper who is one of the Stampin’ Up! Artisans. I’m having trouble locating the card that inspired this but you can check out all her cards. They are gorgeous.
The Gold Mercury Vellum is such a fun backdrop for the embossed “Celebrate” and I just love it on the Balmy Blue. To be honest, this wasn’t a color palette that I was excited about initially. I do like how this card turned out and feel like the colors did work together. I hope my experience will inspire you to try a color palette that you are hesitant about initially.

instructions for the Celebrate the Season Color challenge card
- Cut a Pebbled Path card base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″.
- On a scrap of Balmy Blue card stock, emboss the word “Celebrate” with white embossing powder and fussy cut.
- Add here it to the Gold Mercury Vellum cut with the large label die in the Iconic Imagery bundle.
- Using dimensionals behind the word Celebrate (so they won’t show through the vellum) pop the label up on a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Basic White.
- Use Garden Green ink to stamp three “greens” and then die cut.
- Stamp three sets of berries in Calypso Coral. Die cut or fussy cut.
- With an adhesive sheet on the back of a scrap of Pebbled Path, die cut several sprigs and a strip of stars.
- Tuck each of these elements in under the label to create a cluster above and below the label.
- Stamp “the season” on a scrap of white and die cut with the small label. Add that to the front as well.
- Tie a bow with Crumb Cake Baker’s Twine and use a glue dot to attach.
- Scatter the stars on the front.
- On another 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of basic White. Stamp a “greenery” stamp in the upper left and lower right hand corners. Add die cut berries.
- Adhere this to the inside.

You can also watch this replay of a Facebook Live to see how I created this card and decided on various elements. I’d love if you left me a comment or subscribed to my YouTube channel. Thanks so much.
