Have you seen Stampin’ Up!’s Celebrate Sunflower stamp set? It has the most gorgeous sunflower stamps and you can purchase coordinating dies! It is quickly becoming a favorite set of mine! Here are some cards I’ve made with it recently!
I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the large, detailed sunflower stamp. I stamped that and then layered the detailed sunflower die on top. I popped both of those up over several stamped and die cut leaves and greens. It’s really quite a pretty card.
Next I used the sable brown Stazon ink to stamp the large sunflower images. One off the bottom of the card and another just barely on the top of the card. I stamped a third on a piece of shimmery white cardstock and cut it out with the outline die. Then I watercolored it in with ink. I used crushed curry (bumblebee was not yet available) and early espresso for the center. I put a bit of Wink of Stella in the center too! I love that sparkle.
I think this third one is my favorite. Before I did any stamping I put a piece of wide washi tape across the width of the card. Then I stamped the center sunflower. I masked that one and then stamped the one below and a partial flower above. After stamping I removed the washi tape and stamped the sentiment in its place. I love how that looks. I colored the center of the sunflowers with Wink of Stella again. I think 2020 will be known as my Wink of Stella year!
I hope you like these cards and will grab your stamp set and give them a try!
