Welcome to the Ink Stamp Share Showcase Hop. We are a group of demonstrators who love to share what we are making to inspire you to make cards and projects. Today I am sharing a shaker card!

This is a special card with lots of special touches as it will be a wedding card for a special couple in July. The Moody Mauve, copper embossing, and sparkle elements add the perfect finish to the beautiful paper. The “Celebrate” and hearts from the Wanted to Say Dies add the perfect sentiment to the front.
Instructions for Celebrate shaker card
- Cut a Moody Mauve card base 4 1/4″ x 11″ and score at 5 1/2″. Fold and burnish. Orient the card base in landscape mode with the fold on the left.
- On the front of the card base emboss the leaves from the Encircled in Nature stamp set in Copper Embossing powder. Place these so they will peek out from under the patterned paper.
- Gently rip the long edges of a 2 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Wildflower Designs patterned paper and adhere to the frot of the card as shown.
- Blend Moody Mauve ink on a larger scrap of Basic White- about 3″ x 4″ and use the Petal Park Punch to punch 3 of the smallest flowers and 3 of the medium sized flowers.
- Use your Early Espresso marker to make three dots in the center of each flower.
- To Make the shaker, die cut a Moody Mauve circle with the second largest Stylish Shapes die.
- Die cut a circle frame from Early Espresso card stock by placing the 3rd largest die inside the 2nd largest Stylish Shapes die.
- Adhere the frame to a piece of Window Sheet cut with 2nd largest die. Use Seal or Seal+ to attach. (This is the top of your shaker piece.)
- Remove the release paper from a full length of a Foam Adhesive strip and attach it to the underside of the top of the shaker piece. The foam strip will curl around the circle much easier without the release paper on it.
- Place the loose frosted dots on the Moody Mauve circle. Keep the dots in the center. Add 1 larger and 2 smaller of the punched flowers to the center.
- Carefully place the window sheet piece onto the bottom of the shaker portion. Press firmly to seal closed.
- Adhere the shaker piece to the card front with glue or Tear and Tape.
- Die cut the word “celebrate” and the three small hearts from Copper foil. Die cut the background for “celebrate” from Early Espresso card stock.
- On a piece of 5 1/4″ x 4″ Basic White, stamp the sentiment in the center.
- Add three small flowers to the top right hand corner.
