We really appreciate your support and we hope that you will be inspired by these creative cards.
Each month we share our Customer Thank You notes. Without our customers we wouldn’t have a business so we are a very grateful bunch. Here are my Bloom Where You’re Planted Thank You Cards.

This sheet of patterned paper from the Bloom Where You’re Planted paper pack was one of those “too pretty to cut” papers for me. I love the Just Jade and Garden Green combination of colors and the vine-y nature of the plant. When I did finally convince myself to cut it, I made these two cards.

I posted the photo on my Facebook page because I really wasn’t sure which direction the vines should go in. Most people felt they should go “up” as on the card on the right. I think I like “down” the best. Luckily, there were many comments that both ways were pretty. While these cards are nice, I decided I wanted to step my Thank You cards up a bit.

First, I heat embossed “thanks” from the Biggest Wish Stamp set in white and added some Gilded Leafing. Then I cut the patterned paper in strips and embossed it with the “Thanks” EF from the Thanks and Hello embossing folders. Lastly, I die cut the word “Thanksgiving” from what Word Wishes dies and trimmed away the “Thanks” part. I decided I liked that the best. (On one card I adhered the “Thanks” to a label from the Tasteful Labels dies.)
Below is a close up of the card made with the “Thanks” embossing folder. I embossed the matted strips of the patterned paper and then embossed a scrap of Just Jade card stock, lining it up so the word “Thanks” would be embossed. After I fussy cut the word “thanks,” I adhered it over the spot “Thanks” was embossed on the card front. I added a “swoosh” of ribbon underneath it to dress it up a bit further.

I’m happy that I decided to cut this sheet of paper because I love the cards it makes. I think the simpler ones are the prettiest. The patterned paper does all the work. Which one do you like best?

What a great idea Lorraine to keep the cards similar and vary the thanks – very neat and effective when photographed together 🙂
