Blessings of Christmas Card

It’s time for our Creativity Abounds Blog Hop. We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world- all with different styles- who hope to inspire you to create beautiful cards and send them to friends and family.

This month our blog is featuring Christmas Cards. I’ve chosen to make mine with the Beary Christmas patterned paper pack and the Modern Garden stamp set. I love the Real Red and Misty Moonlight color combination.

Instructions for the blessings of Christmas card

1. Cut a Thick Very Vanilla card base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″.
2. Adhere a piece of Beary Christmas patterned paper cut 5 1/2″ x 2 1/2″.
3. Just above the patterned paper adhere a 5 1/2″ x 1/4″ strip of Misty Moonlight card stock.
4. Die cut the largest banner from the Nested Essentials die set from Misty Moonlight card stock.
5. Use the Beary Cute punch to cut out a polar bear wearing a Real Red sweater from the patterned paper.
6. After adhering the banner in place with dimensionals, stamp “Wishing you the warm blessings of Christmas” in Real Red ink on the upper left portion of the card base.
7. Adhere the polar bear to the banner.
8. Add three red Festive Pearls.
9. Add a 1/2″ strip of trees to the inside bottom of the card. Trim the edges to fit.
