Welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop Floating Hexagon edition! Today we have lots of Floating Hexagon cards for you!

This Floating Hexagon card was made with the Wildflower Birthday Specialty paper and both the Cake Celebrations and Birthday Celebration stamp set. This particular version folds flat to fit in the Stampin’ Up! medium envelope- the standard one for cards.
Here is the back of the card.

Like most fun folds, this card is not difficult to make once you see how it is put together. There is a bit of cutting to do, but the decorating possibilities are endless.

- To Assemble your card
- After you have cut and scored all of your pieces, adhere the patterned paper to the inside front section and the inside sides using the narrow strips. Set this aside.
- Adhere the small pieces of patterned paper to the mats and then adhere the mats to the bridges.
- Turn the bridges over so you are looking at the “underside.” Add Tear & Tape to the outer little section of each side.
- Wrap the bridges around the front of the card base and secure at the top and the bottom. (See the video for demonstration.)
- Turn the base over and adhere the patterned paper strips to the sides – over where you just attached the bridges.
- Stamp your sentiment on the Basic White piece. Adhere it to the mat.
- Adhere the matted piece to the back of the card.
- Put one piece of Tear & Tape on the top and bottom of the window sheet piece.
- Adhere to the underside of the center of the bridge- top and bottom.
- Add your die cut elements with glue dots.
- Stamp your sentiment and adhere to the front.
- Add embellishments using three Party Dots.
