The Crafty Collaborations Team is comprised of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world. Each month we participate in several collaborative projects, including Blog Hops, like this one, to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing.
Our theme today is Winter Holidays. I did not get too creative with the holiday I chose. I love this Bee Mine Suite so much, I just had to use it to make a Valentine’s Day card. The beautiful patterned paper did all the work on this card with an assist from the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch.

To create this card, use the Heartfelt Hexagon punch to punch out 8 different patterns of the Bee Mine papers. If you lay them out as you punch, you can even cut partial “punches” from scraps to fill in the corners or edges. Punch one hexagon using Basic White for your sentiment.
Lay out your punches with the patterns in a manner that is pleasing to your eye. Then stamp the “Happy Valentine’s Day” and hearts on the Basic White punch.

Start gluing your punches with the middle row. I lined my Daffodil Delight mat ( 5 1/4″ x 4″) up on my grid paper so I could find the center and work toward the outside. Be sure to have your silicone craft sheet under your mat and punches or you’ll glue your card to your table! (Ask me how I know!)
When all of your punches are glued down, flip your mat over and trim off the punches that overhang the mat.

Your card is almost finished! Just adhere the mat to a Basic Black card base cut 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″. On a piece of Basic White (5 1/4″ x 4″) stamp “Your as sweet as honey” and a flower using Lemon Lime Twist and Sweet Sorbet inks.

Sprinkle 3 or 4 Adhesive Backed hearts and flowers on the front of your card. Viola! A beautiful valentine is made!
I am unable to link the Bee Mine Suite collection products at this time as the catalog is not yet live! I will update the post after January 4. You can see the rest of the products used at the bottom of this post.
