Azure Afternoon and Sketched Butterflies

My Azure Afternoon and Sketched Butterflies card was inspired by both the Crafty Collaborations Monochromatic Insta Hop and the Freshly Made Sketches #636. The two challenges just seemed to fit together so nicely. Here’s this week’s sketch:

Azure Afternoon is a bright, fun color and I think the butterflies are beautiful in this color. I chose to use lines embossed with my stylus around the center rectangle of butterflies. The vertical lines did not photograph well, but trust me, they are there.

I added my sentiment off center both vertically and horizontally for a bit of interest. One of my favorite stamps in the Sketched Butterflies stamp set is the one with 4 butterflies in flight. They are arranged and spaced so nicely for us. I used that one in the inside of the card.
