The Crafty Collaborations Team is comprised of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world. Each month we participate in several collaborative projects, including Blog Hops, like this one, to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing.
Here is the card I created using the Artistically Ink stamp set and Artistic dies.

Today we have a color challenge for you. I hope after you see our cards you will be inspired to try this challenge yourself. I’d love you to email me a photo of your card! Here are the colors that inspired my card.

As you’ve probably noticed, this card is very easy to make. It is mostly just stamping on a piece of Basic White. I used a the rose and the little threesome of flowers along with leaves to add a focal point. The sentiment is on a strip of Basic White that’s left over when cutting mats! You can’t get much easier than that!
instructions for Artistically Inked Color Challenge Card
- On a piece of Basic White cut 5 1/4″ x 4″ randomly stamp the large flower in Berry Burst, Calypso Coral, and Flirty Flamingo. With the Crushed Curry, I stamped off on a piece of scrap paper first. I also stamped the Berry Burst a second time without reinking right next to one stamped traditionally.
- After filling that piece with flowers, ink the small “flower center” and stamp with a different color in the center of each color (using the same colors as in step one.)
- Next, fill in some white areas with the “dots” stamp using Garden Green.
- Mat this piece on a 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ piece of Garden Green card stock.
- Adhere these layers to the front of Basic White Thick card base cut 5 1/2″ x 4″ and scored at 4 1/4″.
- On a piece of scrap Basic White stamp the rose in Berry Burst after stamping off once on scrap paper. Use the corresponding die cut.
- Stamp the three little flowers with Berry Burst (without stamping off) on a piece of scrap paper as well. Cut with the corresponding die.
- On Garden Green card stock, stamp and die cut two sets of double leaves .
- Adhere the leaves and then using dimensionals add the flowers to the front.
- Stamp Happy Birthday in Garden Green on a 1/2″ strip of Basic White. Trim to fit the card and adhere even with the Basic White mat on the right.
- Add several Calyspo Coral dots from the Ombre Matte Decorative Dots.
- Stamp a rose on the inside of your card Base in Calypso Coral.
