Thanks for joining me on the CASE the Catty Blog Hop with Ink Stamp Share. There are so many wonderful ideas in the catalogs that I had a hard time deciding what to make. As I was flipping through the catalog the 30th birthday card on page 115 of the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog caught my eye. I have the Alphabest stamp set and I have not shown it enough ink, so that was the card for me.
I loved the random number background and the colored rectangles with the sentiment on it. Those two elements inspired me to create this card.
Kids love to see their age on a birthday card so I decided to go with a bright, kid-themed card. The random numbers are stamped in the bright 2022-2024 In Colors (with the exception of Sweet Sorbet) using the Alphabest stamp set. After I stamped lots of numbers, I filled in some white space with the stars from the same stamp set. I added two rows of 2022-2022 In Color DSP using the Best Label punch and layered my Happy Birthday sentiment on top of that.
