A Little Something Treat Package

Welcome to the November Creativity Abounds Blog Hop.  We are a group of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all around the world who are coming together to share our creative ideas with you. We hope that we can inspire you to make creations of your own.

You may be starting here or you may have come from someone else’s blog – either way there is a list at the end of this post to help you move around all the different blogs and get many amazing ideas. We all have our country listed – so if you are looking for a demonstrator in your country, these demonstrators would love to look after you with your Stampin’ Up! shopping. Of course, we would also love to have you join one of our teams.

Our theme this month is Gift Packaging and/or Home Decor. I have made a “Little Something Treat Package” for you today.

This is a fun little box to make. I made about 20 of these to bring to Back Stage to gift to demonstrator friends. I filled them with a locally made maple sugar candy. (I forgot to take a photo of the candy.)

The bags are pretty easy to make from one piece of patterned paper. There is one section of scoring that is best shown rather than describing with words. I have included a video for you.

To get You Started…..

• Designer Series Paper 6″ x 6″ scored at 2 3/4″ and 5 1/2″
• Turn it to the left, and score at 1″ and 4 5/8″
• Turn it back to the right so the larger section is at the bottom. Score from the bottom score line to the bottom edge at 1 3/8″, and 4 1/8″.
• There will then be a couple of diagonal lines to score. Watch the video please to see how to score those lines and how to cut the bottom of the treat bag.

The treat packages for backstage were made with the Gathering Together papers.
